Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,407–$2,464 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 14 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour days (Fri/Sat/Sun, 07:00–19:00) Start date: 10/02/2026 Work setting: travel assignment at a critical access hospital Responsibilities Provide CT imaging and X-ray services per physician orders with minimal supervision Properly position patients, select exposure factors, and ensure diagnostic image quality while maintaining safety and ALARA principles Operate CT and radiography equipment; perform post-processing and ensure accurate data entry in the LIS/RIS/PACS Verify patient identity and orders; communicate clearly with patients and the health team; document procedures and findings Participate in department quality improvement activities and performance monitoring Maintain equipment, troubleshoot basic issues, and uphold radiation safety, infection control, and department policies Requirements ARRT registered or eligible for radiologic technology Iowa licensure (Permit to Practice) Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program Current American Heart Association Heart Code BLS required; new employees certify within three months after hire Previous hospital experience preferred Strong RIS/PACS knowledge; Meditech and Mach7 experience preferred Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; strong teamwork and leadership potential Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the contract Credentialing and licensing assistance to facilitate onboarding Professional guidance from experienced clinical staffing specialists Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
