RN Manager, Clinic - Nurse Navigators - Hematology/OncologyThis is a full time, benefited position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Located primarily at Torrey Pines in La Jolla but oversees all Scripps Cancer Clinic sites (Rancho Bernardo, Torrey Pines, Jefferson, Encinitas & Prebys). This is an exempt and salaried position eligible for the Management Incentive Compensation Plan (MICP) at the Manager level.Why join Scripps Health? Manage RN Specialty Nurse Navigators who support our patients throughout the continuum of care. Conduct performance evaluations and manage staffing schedules Develop staff training and professional development plans Be responsible for the daily operations of the patient care units or departments in an efficient and cost-effective manner, Ensure appropriate equipment and resources are available to staff to do their job. Develop and implement workflows that improve patient access, standard work and satisfaction Monitor clinic productivity, patient volumes and operational performance metrics Contribute to strategic planning of business units. Coordinate the ongoing development and productivity of the physician office practicesQualifications Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: Bachelor's degree plus five years applicable clinical experience, two of which in a leadership role. Requires excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, team development, planning and follow-through. Ability to exercise the authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the scope of the organization and complexity of patient care. Graduate of an accredited program. Applicable experience in a healthcare environment and three years of leadership experience. Ability to effectively manage healthcare business and operational practices. Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other applicable systems. Required Certification/Registration: Current California RN license. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required in clinical setting. Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: Bachelor's/Master's degree or MSN is strongly preferred ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate is strongly preferred. OCN.
