Hourly Pay Range: $40.45 - $62.70 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Position: Registered Nurse Coordinator Pacu
• Location: Arlington Heights
• Full Time:
• Hours: 8a to 5:30p M-F

What you will do:

• The Pacu Clinical Coordinator is a Registered Nurse who provides clinical leadership and operational coordination for perioperative services. This role oversees daily workflow, staffing, resource management, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care across designated surgical specialties.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily perioperative operations, patient flow, and department throughput.
• Provide leadership and support to nursing staff while fostering teamwork and collaboration.
• Plan and adjust staffing based on patient acuity, census, and operational needs.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
• Oversee the availability and maintenance of supplies and equipment
• Serve as a clinical resource and participate in direct patient care as needed.
• Support staff development, orientation, and ongoing competency initiatives.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement and performance improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and professional nursing standards.

What you will need:

• Education:
• ADN
• BSN preferred
• Certification/License:
• IL RN License
• CPR BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Experience:
• Experience in Peri anesthesia/OR or Critical Care setting preferred
• Leadership/ charge nurse experience preferred
• Team building, leadership acumen, critical thinking and effective communication.
• Must demonstrate competency in care of all patient age groups specific to specialty. Competencies are unit/specialty specific.
