Social Worker - Part Time - Child and Adolescent Outpatient Clinic - Westchester Behavioral Health

Job Summary Location: White Plains, New York. Shift: Day. Hours: 21 hours per week (3 days per week, including 2 evenings until 7p.m.). This part‑time Social Worker position is located in the Child and Adolescent Outpatient Clinic at NewYork‑Presbyterian Hospital. Responsibilities Provide evidence‑based individual, group, and family therapy to child and adolescent psychiatric patients. Assist in the stabilization and treatment of acute psychiatric symptoms associated with mood, anxiety, and personality disorders. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement treatment plans. Preferred Qualifications 3–5 years of experience treating child and adolescent psychiatric patients. Training and experience in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or eligible to obtain an LCSW license.
