NYCOR - CNC Cylindrical Grinder Machinist (Direct Hire) – Up to $38/hr. + $6,000 Bonus
NYCOR is seeking a skilled CNC Cylindrical Grinder Machinist to join a growing team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC ID and OD cylindrical grinders, ensuring high-quality precision parts that meet strict customer and engineering specifications.
Shift Options:
- 1st Shift:
- Monday–Thursday: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM OR Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift:
- Monday–Thursday: 3:25 PM – 1:55 AM + $1.50/hour shift premium
Compensation: $28 – $38/hour (Willing to pay more based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $6,000 (based on shift)
Near Plymouth, MN.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC ID/OD cylindrical grinding machines
- Perform routine and repetitive machining operations with precision
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Inspect and verify parts using precision measuring tools
- Maintain production schedules and meet due dates
- Update job progress using internal scheduling systems
- Support fabrication of new components as needed
Qualifications
- Experience setting up CNC cylindrical grinders (ID/OD required)
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions
- Experience with precision measurement tools
- Basic computer skills
