Founded in 2001, Canadian Solar is one of the worlds fastest?growing companies in the solar industry and has been listed on the NASDAQ since November 2006./ppJob Summary:/ppAn Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide variety of equipment, including warehouse equipment, manufacturing equipment, plant equipment./ppDuties/Responsibilities:/pulliPerform scheduled preventative maintenance on all production and facility equipment as directed./liliTroubleshoot and repair all manufacturing plant equipment./liliRepair and maintain all electrical and mechanical equipment in plant./liliFollow all maintenance procedures to ensure proper preventative and corrective maintenance practices./liliEnsure compliance with all internal and external plant policies and procedures./liliEnsure safety of all personnel in the Maintenance group meets company standards of the Occupational Health Safety Act and Regulations and those within Company Policy/liliAdhere to all environmental, health and safety rules and policies./liliConduct other duties as required./li/ulpQualifications and Experience:/pulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent/liliMust have Manufacturing experience with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems./liliMust have experience repairing manufacturing equipment and plant equipment./liliHands-on experience with PLC/HMI, machine control and industrial robotics/liliAbility to interpret machine schematic, electrical and mechanical drawings./liliGood knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems/liliAble to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively./liliAbility to work 12-hour shifts, day shift or night shift/li/ulpCanadian Solar Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
