Speech-Language Pathologist - Days 8 Hour Shift

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to effectively screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will develop appropriate plans of care in adherence to regulatory and clinical practice standards. This position emphasizes utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans according to clinical requirements.
• Document all treatment and regulatory requirements accurately in the electronic documentation system.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
• Participate in patient care conferences, rehabilitation meetings, and utilization review meetings.
• Supervise and support Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and Student Speech-Language Pathologists.
• Maintain adherence to ASHA and state required practice acts and ethical codes.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
• Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation is required.
• Valid Texas State License is required.
• CCC certification is required.
• Preferred: 3 years of experience holding active CCS.

Schedule

This position offers an 8-hour day shift on weekdays.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
