Grants Specialist

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Grants Specialist to join the top healthcare organization in the Tri-State area. This person will support Neurology throughout the grant lifecycle, primarily focusing on pre-award administration. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and submitting grant applications, developing budgets, coordinating with collaborators and subcontractors, tracking submission deadlines, maintaining grant documentation, assisting with Just-In-Time requests, and preparing annual progress reports (RPPRs). This individual will serve as a key resource for Principal Investigators by providing guidance on sponsor requirements, institutional policies, compliance requirements, and grant submission processes, while also maintaining reports on active, pending, and planned grant activity

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, Research Administration, or a related field.

• 2+ years of grants administration, research administration, or sponsored research experience.

• Working knowledge of pre-award grants administration, including grant proposal preparation and submission support.

• Experience developing or assisting with grant budgets and financial documentation.

Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations governing sponsored research. • NIH experience

• Experience supporting federally funded research programs and grant submissions.

• Familiarity with grant management systems such as Research Navigator, eRA Commons, or similar platforms

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for budget development and tracking
