Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry – Charge RN (Nights)

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Charge RN on the Med Surg/Telemetry unit during night shift, providing clinical leadership and oversight to the nursing team
• Float to the Emergency Department as needed to support patient care operations
• Stabilize, treat, and facilitate discharge or transfer of patients requiring a higher level of care not available on-site
• Collaborate with ambulance services, helicopter trauma teams, and receiving facilities to coordinate rapid and safe patient transfers
• Utilize state-of-the-art ED equipment and telehealth services (TeleEmergency, Telepsych, Teleneonatal) when applicable during ED float shifts

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current, recent Med Surg experience
• Previous Charge RN experience — must be clearly documented on profile
• Active New Hampshire RN license (must be current at time of submission)
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification (documentation required)
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification (documentation required)
• Active American Heart Association PALS certification (documentation required)
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past year of employment (required)
• Completed Med Surg skills checklist (required)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Prior experience working in a Critical Access Hospital setting highly preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) highly preferred
