Position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Responsible for completing patient assessments and developing plans of care in collaboration with the surgical team.
Must document patients' physical, mental, and emotional needs accurately.
Recognize potential problems and abnormal findings, communicating them to the appropriate team member.
Document nursing interventions and treatments along with patient responses.
Accurately record perioperative data.
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team by assembling required supplies for each procedure according to surgeon preferences.
