Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in the Emergency Room setting, ensuring rapid and effective treatment for patients experiencing acute conditions. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality, efficient patient care during high-demand shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency nursing care to stabilize patients and assess their condition promptly.
• Follow hospital protocols and prioritize patient safety during all interventions.
• Coordinate with physicians and other staff to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and responses.
• Monitor vital signs and utilize advanced certifications to manage critical situations effectively.
• Educate patients and families on emergency procedures and post-care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in Illinois.
• Possess current ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Stroke certification, and BLS.
• Demonstrate a minimum of two years of ED nursing experience.
• Certified in CPI and NRP.
• Ability to work the specified shifts from June 11 to June 12.
