This position involves developing and implementing strategies to enhance the overall quality of patient care, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of safety among healthcare teams. Primary Responsibilities: • Lead and direct hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction. • Provide leadership in promoting a culture of safety throughout the hospital. • Oversee patient safety programs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. • Ensure the hospital's compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality reporting requirements. • Oversee the monitoring and analysis of key quality metrics, such as readmission rates, infection rates, and patient satisfaction scores. • Lead or facilitate Root Cause Analysis investigations for significant adverse events. • Prepare comprehensive reports for hospital leadership, regulatory agencies, and quality improvement committees. • Lead the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to address emerging challenges and enhance overall quality and safety.**Qualifications****Qualifications:** * Bachelor's Degree in related field of study required. Master's Degree preferred.* 5+ years of experience in quality improvement, patient safety, or a related field within a healthcare setting required* 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience required Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- In-depth Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement methodologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. - Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in data analysis and reporting. - Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.**Additional Job Details (if applicable)****Schedule and Work Model:** * Full-time, Monday through Friday, standard business hours (ET)* Hybrid work model: No set schedule for on-site and remote (work from home); must be available to be on-site as needed at Brigham and Women’s Hospital as well as other Mass General Brigham affiliated hospitals and flexible based on business needs.* On remote workdays, employees must use a stable, secure, and compliant workstation in a quiet environment.
