Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist – Phoenix, AZ Location: West Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85037 Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completed training program 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Flexibility to work overtime as needed Benefits Periodical quarterly bonus through the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan based on performance metrics Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan for employees scheduled 20 or more hours per week 401(k) plan participation for employees scheduled less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees All benefits except PTO or FTO for employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
