Inventory Control Supervisor - La Habra, CA (Mid Shift)

Position Summary The Inventory Control Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of 10+ non‑exempt employees in CVS Health’s distribution facility. In this role, you will direct workflow for warehouse employees and lead your team to meet and exceed daily targets. Responsibilities Hire, onboard, train, schedule, and assign work to all colleagues reporting to this role. Maintain a high level of performance for inventory control, slotting, cycle counting, root‑cause analysis, and Golden Zone standards as per CVS’s IC, quality, and compliance requirements. Manage and sustain high standards through 5S, lean, and cleanliness across the distribution center using CVS SOPs and protocols. Promote, reinforce, and hold all colleagues accountable for safety, security, awareness, and compliance. Execute daily activities and operational plans in compliance with all SOPs, processes, and strategies to enhance a culture of excellence and innovation while meeting daily targets. Strive to meet or exceed all key performance indicators in safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and people. Conduct performance appraisals, training, and PUMPS using reports, summaries, and procedures to resolve problems and improve employee performance efficiency. Coordinate processes and assignments with leadership of all distribution center areas within the warehouse to achieve balanced workload and meet daily metrics. Adapt quickly to operational needs and urgencies, making decisions to meet goals. Define task priorities and establish new assignments to achieve operational success. Manage team performance through timely feedback and performance review processes to ensure engagement, motivation, and development. Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years supervising inventory control functions within a distribution center/warehouse. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience. Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). High school diploma or GED (verifiable). Preferred Qualifications Bi‑lingual. Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System). Bachelor’s degree. Background in Six Sigma production techniques. Pay Range $43,888.00 – $93,574.00 (base annual full‑time salary, subject to experience, education, geography, and other factors). This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range.
