We are seeking Experienced Childcare Staff to train as iKids U Instructors leading group activities and keeping fun a top priority at Austin elementary schools! Schedule is 4-5 days per week, part time 10 -15 hours from 2:30 - 5/6 PM, thru 2027 spring semester, May/June 2027. Details Pay range is $15.00 – 17.00 per hour Afternoons 2:30 - 5 / 6:00 PM, 2-5 days/week Instructors work 6 - 15 hours per week (no weekends) Part time following the 2026-2027 Austin elementary school calendar Provided Paid training & development Certification in CPR and First Aid Swag including your iKids work shirts Referral program Schedule provides work/life balance Promotional opportunities for top performers Duties Implement iKids lesson plans & engage kids in various enrichment courses Monitor and maintain child safety on playground, during activities and snack breaks Provide homework assistance and actively engage with students Maintain classroom management Assist in organizing materials and a child‑friendly space Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and parents Support iKids mission to provide high quality enrichment, tutoring, and care May lift 5-30 lbs; anticipate physical demands of an Austin elementary school and playground setting. Required Experience with children (like camps, coaching, teaching, tutoring, workshops, child care, child development, teacher assistance, special education, child therapy, instructional assistance, substitute teaching, or baby‑sitting / childcare) Maintain a consistent, weekly teaching schedule, 2-5 days/week Independent transportation and currently residing in Austin metroplex Required High School Diploma or equivalent (18 yrs old minimum); some college hours preferred Clear background and fingerprinting results About iKids U Austin iKids U is the One‑Stop–Out‑Of‑School‑Shop for kids, parents and schools.
