Job Opportunity – Critical Care Registered Nurse (ICU) – Wisconsin

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Wisconsin

Schedule: Evening/Night shifts (8 or 12-hour shifts), 1900-0730, every other weekend rotation with some holidays. Patient ratio 1:3. Block scheduling available to accommodate preferences.

• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
• 28 hours of orientation provided to support successful integration
• 6-7 weekend shifts per contract period

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state licensure
• Minimum 5 years of ICU nursing experience with adult populations
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in critical care specialty
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Competency in multiple ICU specialties (Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, Burn, Medical/Surgical)
• BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Must successfully pass telemetry competency exam prior to start (strict passing criteria applies)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Strong proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, vasoactive drip titration, CRRT, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred

Local Candidates: Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position

Testing Requirements: Telemetry competency exam must be completed with passing scores prior to assignment start. Strict criteria include 100% identification of lethal rhythms and 80% overall passing score. Limited attempts apply.
