Responsibilities Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams; educates other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively with team members; and remains flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas. Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; plans future and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, club pick up orders, training, and product quality; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Drives area performance; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; provides member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs; assists members with purchasing decisions; handles payment types; locates merchandise; and resolves member issues and concerns. Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate; develops, influences, and inspires others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style; understands roadblocks and assists in training. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
