Overview Physical Therapist – General in Washington, North Carolina. Travel - Temporary Assignment starting 08/09/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,451–$2,587 per week. Develop, document, and continually revise a Plan of Care (POC); prepare progress notes and other clinical documentation; collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. Plan and provide treatment for neuromuscular, neurological, and orthopedic conditions based on medical referral and therapy assessments. Instruct patients and families in transfer techniques and safe use of equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes, braces, prosthetic devices); select and adapt rehabilitative equipment to meet home and patient needs. Educate patients and families about therapeutic procedures, prognosis, and home exercise programs; promote infection control and universal precautions. Supervise or train other team members when applicable; participate in coordination of care and acceptance of clinical assignments within scope of education and competence.
