Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in Euclid, OH

Deliver critical care and compassionate support to patients in a dynamic Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled RN with a background in ICU nursing, eager to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced hospital environment.


Desired Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent ICU experience strongly preferred
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and critical thinking skills
• Confident communicator with patients, families, and the care team
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations and high-acuity cases

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU
• Monitor and document patient status, respond quickly to changes in condition, and carry out physician orders
• Administer medications, manage complex IV therapies, and operate life-sustaining equipment such as ventilators and cardiac monitors
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate optimal care
• Educate patients and families about critical care interventions and offer emotional support
• Maintain strict compliance with hospital procedures and infection prevention protocols
