Position Summary Supports the production process by helping to safely complete the assembly of finished product using sub-assemblies, weldments, parts, and fasteners to engineering specifications and drawings. General Duties Work safely and effectively in a Lean Manufacturing environmentAssemble products using blueprints and work instructionsPerform necessary measurementsInspect product per inspection guidelinesEnsure assembled products meet all requirementsPack products into designated kits according to specificationIdentify opportunities to improve Safety, Quality, Cost and DeliveryMaintain proper 5S, housekeeping and safety standardsMust wear and use all required personal protective equipmentResponsible for your safety and safety of othersMust be willing to be flexible and assist other departments when necessaryComply with company core values, policies, and legal guidelinesCreate a positive work environment with positive attitude Small Assembly Specific Work in team environment at 1 of 11 stations (you will be trained on all 11)Paint line will be required to operate the crane Responsibilities Must be safety and quality orientedMust work well in a team situationMust be able to read and comprehend blueprintsStrong attention to detailKnowledge of and ability to use hand toolsAbility to operate basic equipmentAbility to compute basic mathematicsAbility to read, comprehend, follow, and apply work instructions and proceduresAbility to identify and resolve problemsAbility to develop accurate and comprehensive work instructions in conjunction with a Process Document Writer. Working Conditions Manufacturing Environment: Standing and walking for extended periods of timeWearing appropriate PPE and following safety proceduresMay require lifting, pushing, pulling of objects.Varying temperatures, depending upon season and machiningRefer to Functional Job Description for a complete list of physical requirements.
