Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Round Rock, Texas location to perform blood draws, process specimens, and provide patient care. The position operates Monday through Friday with potential weekend hours and offers opportunities for growth within a clinical laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
• Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
• Process billing and collect patient payments as required
• Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification from accredited agency or completed training program
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Preferred: 2+ years phlebotomy experience in clinical or hospital environment
• Preferred: 1+ years experience with diverse patient populations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility to work overtime and fast-paced environments
