Histology Technologist Full Time

The histology technologist performs all approved laboratory histological procedures within their licensed scope of histotechnology. This position requires the use of sound judgment and a high level of responsibility while working with minimal supervision from the laboratory supervisor or pathologist. Procedures are performed on appropriate patient specimens as approved and instructed by the medical director.

Qualifications

• Education Requirements: Associate's Degree required; MS Preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1 – 3 years of experience is required; 3 years or more preferred.
• Skills: Histology techniques required
• License / Certification: Florida License for Histology Technologists required
