DishwasherThe Trillium is seeking a reliable and hardworking dishwasher/steward to join our culinary team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will support kitchen operations by ensuring all dishes, cookware, and kitchen areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, while also assisting with deliveries and general kitchen upkeep.Key responsibilities include:Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pansMaintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and kitchen areasReceive, unload, and stock all food and beverage deliveries in appropriate storage areasEnsure proper rotation and storage of inventory (FIFO method)Take out trash and recycling regularly, maintaining clean waste areasClean and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, and other kitchen equipment as scheduledAssist with deep cleaning and special projects as assigned by the executive chefFollow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelinesQualifications and requirements include:Prior experience in a restaurant or retirement community kitchen requiredAbility to speak, read, and write EnglishMust be able to pass a background checkAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularlyAbility to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanlinessAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentDependable, punctual, and team-orientedWillingness to follow instructions and support kitchen staff as neededWork environment includes:Fast-paced kitchen settingExposure to heat, water, cleaning chemicals, and kitchen equipmentRequires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededWhy join The Trillium?At The Trillium, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive team environment where every role is valued.
