Our banquet captain will be experienced and the finest of banquet servers.This role leads other associates by coaching, giving direction and may include training and setting up department practices. They are responsible for making the function space visually appealing and presenting the menu offering for the event. This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment. This is a temporary position anticipated to continue through Memorial Day 2027 . The assignment may end earlier or be extended based on business needs and does not create a guarantee of employment for any specific duration. This is a nonexempt (hourly) role. The budgeted rate for this role is $17.50 plus additional gratuity. This is the hourly ratefor this position that Thompson Palm Springsreasonably expectsto pay. Decisions regarding individual hourly rates will be based ona number offactors includingexperience,and education.
