Jackson - Elkhart, Indiana 46516Position Summary:This role is responsible to ensure common areas of the store are clean and serviceable for Customers/Associates.Here’s what you’ll do:Dust shelves and fixtures, clean windows, sweep/vacuum as neededAssist in bottle room machine maintenance, empty full bins, return binsClean bathrooms daily; sweep and mop floors, sanitize sinks and toilets, refill paper toiletriesSanitize shopping cartsMaintain cleanliness of cart return area and return left behind items back to the shelvesSweep sidewalks free of clutter, trash and debris; ice/snow removal required during colder temperatures as neededUtilize brooms, mop, floor scrubber, dusters and general store cleaning equipment and chemicalsEmpty trash cans, inside and outside as needed.Follow all PPE and Safety GuidelinesFollow all Food Safety and Cleaning ExpectationsFollow Guest Experience GuidelinesMay be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as neededHere’s what you’ll need:High school graduate or equivalent (GED)Good verbal communication skills: ability to interact politely and effectively with customers.Good customer service and organizational skills; detail oriented.Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills are required.Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
