The APP assesses and manages recheck patients, supports North Central Heart cardiologists during Mitchell outreach clinics, and independently conducts follow-up outreach visits after an NCH physician has established the patient treatment plan. The APP reviews diagnostic results, provides patient education, and collaborates with NCH cardiologists to promote safe, coordinated, patient-centered cardiovascular care.Education and ExperienceGraduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Cardiology, internal medicine, or related clinical experience preferred.Licensure and CertificationCurrent or eligible South Dakota licensure as a Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Current BLS certification required; ACLS and prescriptive authority/DEA registration preferred or required as applicable to the role.
