Mortgage Assistant - Full Time

Mortgage Assistant
We are seeking a Mortgage Assistant to provide service assistance to members and the mortgage department by answering inquiries and researching and resolving issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting and welcoming members and guests.
- Answering inquiries regarding general information on mortgage products.
- Processing departmental mail and scanning loan file documents.
- Processing approved invoices and maintaining departmental file retentions process.
- Ordering verification of employment for all loans going to closing.
- Preparing daily Trigger's report for Mortgage Loan Originators.
- Updating and creating departmental reports and the daily rate sheet on the intranet.
- Ensuring paid-off mortgage loans are released in an accurate and timely manner.
- Typing notices to county government offices.
- Posting the receipt of funds into the appropriate general ledger and maintaining spreadsheet of department bills.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year to two years of similar or related experience, preferably in the mortgage/lending industry.
- Exceptional customer service experience.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Schedule:
- Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.
- Saturday hours 8:00 AM 12:00 PM (rotating; approx. once every 6 weeks).
- Full time employees have a 40-hour work week within the hours listed above.
