Senior Structural Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in West Michigan. Responsibilities: Design various structural projects, including retaining walls, concrete tanks, buildings, and miscellaneous structures. Serve in a technical role on design projects. Perform structural analysis and design computations. Ensure that structural projects are designed in accordance with relevant codes. Prepare progress reports and communications for client. Represent firm and client at public meetings. Collaborate with other staff on multi-discipline projects. Train, coach, and mentor staff. Assist in business development and proposal efforts. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required. A PE registration in Michigan is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the structural design field. Knowledge of applicable codes and standards. Comfortable with structural design software. Design experience in timber, concrete, steel, and masonry structural building systems preferred.
