Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working a 2-10 shift with 4 days on, 2 days off schedule.In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents across various settings, including long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. Your expertise will help ensure our patients receive personalized attention and support in their health journey. This position offers an energetic environment where your caregiving skills make a meaningful difference every day.DutiesDeliver direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts.Monitor and record vital signs, medical documentation, and patient progress using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.Support patients with specialized needs including dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, and behavioral health conditions through compassionate engagement.Assist with medical procedures including catheter care, phlebotomy, medication administration, and aseptic techniques to ensure safety and compliance.Collaborate with healthcare teams in acute care settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers, providing critical support during emergencies or complex treatments.Maintain infection control standards and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and promote a safe environment.Utilize specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts and conduct patient assessments involving physiology and anatomy knowledge for optimal care delivery.RequirementsValid CNA certification with current licensure in the state of employment.Prior experience in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), nursing homes, hospice care, or outpatient clinics.Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation.Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges; familiarity with dementia and Alzheimer's care is highly desirable.Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, catheter care, and basic life support (BLS).Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings such as emergency medicine or urgent care environments.Compassionate caregiver with a commitment to patient-centered service and teamwork across multidisciplinary teams.
