PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - FULFILLMENT

Order Fulfillment Pharmacy TechnicianIn accordance with state/federal regulation, the Order Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in practice of pharmacy. Assists pharmacist in performance of other Pharmacy Department duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures.Qualifications:Good organizational skills and an orientation to detail is requiredClean driving record and valid Driver's LicenseRegistered with the Missouri Board of PharmacyExcellent customer service skillsEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesAssist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with local, state, federal, and Company regulations.Prepacking of stock including preparation of equipment and pre-pack labels, packaging and labeling of product for bar-code scanning, and quality control procedures.Stock control functions including stock level audits, expiry date checking, stock file maintenance, and maintenance of internal stock movement.General cleaning of work area and general maintenance of equipment and materials.Maintains knowledge of loss prevention techniquesOther duties as assignedPhysical Demands:The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hearThe employee is required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipmentThe employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 poundsSpecific vision requirements for this job include: close, distance and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focusReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position without compromising patient care.Alps Pharmacy is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
