What We Offer as a Safety & Risk Manager: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays Life Insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Career Advancement Opportunities Supportive and Safety-Focused Work Environment Stable and Growing Organization What You'll Do as a Safety & Risk Manager Safety Leadership & Program Development Lead safety initiatives that promote a culture of accountability, awareness, and accident prevention Develop, implement, and maintain company safety policies, procedures, and best practices Conduct workplace inspections, safety assessments, and operational audits Analyze safety performance trends and recommend improvement strategies Partner with leadership to strengthen safety awareness throughout the organization Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and industry regulations Maintain compliance documentation, records, and reporting requirements Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews to identify areas of risk Monitor regulatory changes and implement updates to company policies and procedures Develop strategies to reduce operational and organizational risk Investigations & Driver Compliance Oversee driver qualification programs, licensing compliance, background screening requirements, and drug and alcohol testing programs Review and maintain driver compliance records and documentation Investigate accidents, incidents, claims, and safety-related concerns Identify root causes and develop corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for management review Training & Operational Support Coordinate safety training programs, meetings, and educational initiatives Provide guidance to drivers, supervisors, and employees on safety policies and regulatory requirements Serve as a resource for safety-related questions and compliance matters Collaborate with operations teams to ensure consistent adherence to company standards Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance safety and operational performance Qualifications of a Safety & Risk Manager: Experience in safety management, compliance, transportation, fleet operations, risk management, or a related field preferred Strong knowledge of safety regulations, compliance requirements, and risk mitigation practices Experience conducting audits, investigations, and corrective action planning Excellent organizational, analytical, and documentation skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and compliance tracking systems Self-motivated with a proactive approach to workplace safety and continuous improvement Why Join zTrip?
