Your work will directly affect people's lives!Primary ResponsibilitiesFunctions include setting up, filling, mixing and/or delivering production chemicals used in a manufacturing or process area where accuracy of chemical composition is important (e.g., wafer, ink toner, media) in process operation.Reads and comprehends from written and verbal instructions on work orders (after trained).Removes and disposes of waste chemicals, solvents and acids per the understanding of Haz Com training.Performs basic maintenance (TPM) of production equipment, cleans pots and tanks for production.May be required to assist in chemical spills.QualificationsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.Must be able to be certified/pass medical test to wear a respirator.Must be able to pass basic math test.Must be able to be certified as a forklift driver.Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD®Through leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.
