Unit Specifics: Number of beds: 12, Patient ratios: 1:2.

Unit staffing description: Type of equipment: Baxter pumps, Documentation system: Cerner, Scheduling requirements: Self Schedule/Unit needs. 6 weekend shifts per period. Floating policy: Travelers float first to other ICU S or to step down.

Patient Experience requirements: Neurology experienced ICU nurses preferred.

Certifications Required: NIHSS, ACLS.

Hiring profile: Must have: ACLS, BLS, ICU experience. Advanced skills needed: Care of Neurology post thrombectomy and TPA patients. Post Neurosurgery patients. Procedures performed on unit: CRRT, Bedside EVDs, A-line monitoring.

Dress Code: Navy Blue.
