Space Systems Engineer - Integration

Salary: $165,000 - 225,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• We need at least 8 years of experience with satellite and fire control systems.
• We require an active TS/SCI clearance.
• We need strong experience in requirements development and traceability.
• We require a solid technical and analytical grasp of how satellite and ground systems interact.
• We need prior systems engineering experience.
• We require the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A masters degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics is preferred.
• Experience with satellite fire control systems is preferred.
• Agile framework experience, including Jira and Confluence, is preferred.
• Experience supporting Department of Defense and/or Intelligence Community customers is preferred.
• Current experience with space systems is preferred.

• We provide technical support and advisory guidance for complex space systems integration and test activities.
• We oversee systems engineering processes, including cost, schedule, and performance trade studies.
• We help develop test objectives, plans, and schedules, and we support test execution, analysis, and reporting.
• We coordinate with multiple teams and program offices to plan, execute, and deconflict system tests and integration efforts.
• We analyze test data, resolve issues, and document test outcomes.
• We perform risk management work, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks.
• We support application product managers and coordinate cross-functional groups across Government, Military, SETA, FFRDC, UARC, and Industry partners.
• We prepare briefings, written reports, and assessments for audiences ranging from working-level teams to senior executives.
