What You’ll Do As a Prep Cook at A&V Foods, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and our dishes shine. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing ingredients for daily menu items, such as chopping vegetables, portioning proteins, and measuring spices.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation while adhering to food safety standards.
- Assisting chefs with cooking tasks and ensuring timely preparation of meals.
- Monitoring inventory levels and communicating supply needs to the team.
- Contributing to a positive team environment by collaborating and supporting your fellow kitchen staff.
We’re seeking someone who brings a mix of skill, passion, and dedication to the table. Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen or culinary environment.
- Skills: Strong knife skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Attitude: A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices.
