CANNABIS FACILITY SECURITY AGENT

Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for Temp to Hire Security Agents for a Cannabis Company in the Amesbury, Massachusetts, area starting as soon as possible. For solid performing workers, there is the opportunity for this position to turn into a full-time opportunity.

As a Security Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all individuals at the facility.In addition to ensuring personnel and guest safety, your responsibilities will include working with security system vendors, monitoring security systems and conducting the appropriate systems checks to ensure everything is operating correctly.You will ensure all products and other assets are protected and investigate/document any activity not in line with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

You bring with you experience in unarmed self-defense and de-escalation either in law enforcement or security.You must have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with being able to work in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous, and changing environment.You must be capable of working with hazardous materials, coordinating safety drills, and overseeing building evacuations.You must be eligible to work for a licensed Cannabis Company in the State of Massachusetts, which includes going through a state required badging process.You should be able to stand and or walk for extended periods of time and be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds (200 pounds with assistance).If you're excited about bringing your security background into the state regulated Cannabis industry, we look forward to receiving your resume.

REQUIREMENTS

• Massachusetts State Law requires anyone working for a licensed cannabis company to be 21 years of age or older
• Must be eligible to work for a licensed cannabis company in the State of Massachusetts
• Reliable transportation and ability to arrive on time
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to take direction, have a growth mindset, and work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
• At least two professional references able to speak to your great work ethic

Compensation:$20.50/hour
