Posted a month ago Description Deseret Cattle & Timber is hiring part-time Heavy Equipment Operators ! Summary: The Heavy Equipment Operator operates agricultural equipment under supervision to support daily farm or ranch activities, including land preparation, feeding, irrigation, and harvesting, with a focus on safe operation and skill development. Responsibilities: Operate basic farm equipment (e.g., tractors, loaders, skid steers) to complete assigned tasks. Perform routine equipment checks and basic daily maintenance (fueling, greasing, fluid checks). Assist with planting, harvesting, irrigation setup, fencing, and general land upkeep. Follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions at all times. Keep equipment and work areas clean and report any issues. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred. At least 1 year of farm equipment operation experience. Valid driver’s license. Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification. Willingness to learn GPS-guided equipment. Basic math and communication skills.
