Job Description:
- Strong Scala Java development Skills with add on Testing expertise on Cucumber based framework for Regression and functional testing
- Expertise in writing safe concurrent code using Scalas features and libraries eg Akka or ZIO
- Knowledge of JVM memory models nonblocking data structures and performance profiling to achieve the low latency
- Familiarity with integrating Scala with frameworks like Apache Spark or Flink for largescale data processing and analysis within the settlement process
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases eg Cassandra MongoDB PostgreSQL
- Extensive domain background in markets specifically in post trade settlement and developing low latency high throughput settlement platforms
- Attention to details and extensive testing mindset in driving realtime trading order management market data processing risk management and regulatory reporting
