Infectious Disease Physician

A comprehensive, integrated health care system in Connecticut is adding Infectious Disease Physicians to our central Connecticut location, near Hartford. We are Connecticut's largest health system with 4,000 providers and a network of 7 hospitals with more than 300 office locations.

About the Opportunity:

• 100% Infectious Disease. No primary care
• System-wide collaboration with over 20 Infectious Disease Physicians
• Shared call with other ID physicians
• Inpatient consultations and outpatient office, including outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment
• Assist with the Antimicrobial Stewardship program and with activities of infection control and the hospital epidemiology programs
• Appointment at the Assistant Professor level for post-graduate medical education for residents as well as medical students
