Job Overview

• Salary/Pay Rate: $25 to $35 per hour plus Performance Based Bonus
• Location: Indian Land, South Carolina (Remote / 20% Travel Required within the local area / market serviced)

• Mandatory Licences & Certifications: 608 EPA license, Valid Driver's License

The Opportunity

You will serve as a frontline technical expert, troubleshooting and repairing complex residential and light commercial HVAC systems to ensure maximum efficiency and comfort. This role focuses purely on technical excellence and high-quality repairs rather than aggressive, commission-driven sales upgrades. You will have the autonomy of a remote field position backed by a company that values your specialized mechanical expertise.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and system malfunctions using ohmmeters and advanced diagnostic tools.
• Execute precision repairs, routine maintenance, and factory start-ups on diverse residential and light commercial heating and cooling equipment.
• Analyze intricate schematics, zone systems, and HVAC design principles to accurately determine system sequences of operation.
• Rebuild or replace critical components including compressors, fans, thermostats, valves, and electrical controls.
• Provide honest, high-level technical recommendations to homeowners and businesses regarding system safety, efficiency, and suitable replacements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of proven service technician experience specifically within the HVAC field.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience handling refrigeration techniques and electrical troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics and manufacturer standards for major equipment brands.
• Possession of a valid driver's license to operate within a 50-mile radius of the service area.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Experience safely operating commercial service trucks and vans equipped with ladder racks.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing residential and commercial HVAC equipment.
• Advanced proficiency in configuring and diagnosing multi-zone climate control systems.
