About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP, Head of Physical Production to oversee the full spectrum of physical production for its original scripted programming. This executive will be responsible for leading the production strategy from development to delivery, ensuring the highest creative standards are met while maintaining fiscal responsibility and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include supervising production executives, collaborating with various teams, and establishing best-in-class production policies. The role also involves financial oversight, including budget approval and maximizing production value through strategic use of resources. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale scripted productions, a strong network within the television production community, and exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills. Candidates for the SVP, Head of Physical Production position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in a senior production executive role, with a portfolio that includes award-winning projects. Expert proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and production finance is essential, as is a deep understanding of industry best practices and evolving production technologies. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a collaborative leadership style, capable of balancing creative and financial priorities. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, and a background in premium cable, streaming, or major studio television is preferred.
