PARKVIEW ITEMS OF NOTE:
- Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (reduction of regular bill rate by ***%; rate multipliers be applied to the reduced regular bill rate)
- Call off policy: Client may call off or cancel up to 24 hours for every 13 week assignment
- Non-billable Orientation Hours: 8 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation, clinicians returning within 12 months of their last worked date will not be eligible for non-billable orientation

***This position will float between Parkview Bryan and Parkview Montpelier.***

Will work with a team of 2 or 3 other nurses and a clerk or tech. Set schedule. Every third weekend. No call. Extra shifts may be available for pick up.

Name of Position Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience in ER - required.
Current Ohio RN or compact license
BLS (AHA only) required.
EPIC charting required.
Does candidate require time off during assignment? If yes, please list in comments
ACLS (AHA only) required.
Previous ER travel experience required, please list how many years of this experience in comments.
PALS (AHA only) required. (This IS required, no need to verify that it is a requirement, this is that confirmation.)
TNCC preferred.
NIHSS preferred.

1. General job duties. Types of procedures required.
Triage patients arriving to the ED. Assess patients. Start IVs. Give medications oral, intramuscular, and IV. Critical drips. Moderate sedation. Report to inpatient units for patients that are admitted. Transporting patients to inpatient units who are admitted. Stabilization and treatment for patients who will be transferred to another facility. Good communication with physicians and other staff on plan of care for your patients. Assist physician with reductions, chest tubes, central lines, intubation, etc. Assist in cases of rapid sequence intubation. Typical patient load is 3 or 4 patients per nurse. Perform EKGs. Draw blood for lab from IV start.


2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
EPIC charting. Bar code med administration through EPIC using WOW with scanner or Rover phone. Omnicel med dispensing cabinets. Phillips bedside cardiac monitors with X2 portable. Zoll defibrillators. Plumb IV pumps.


3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.
2 years of ED experience at a facility with annual volumes of 14,000 or higher. Skilled at IV starts.


4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
BLS, ACLS, PALS required. NIHSS preferred. TNCC preferred.


5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)

Not required to float.

13 bed emergency department. Typically see between 1250 and 1350 a month.

3 or 4 patients per nurse

9. Dress Code:
Caribbean Blue scrubs.
