Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

Drax is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to support safe, reliable operation of our renewable biomass and power generation assets. You’ll install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems, control circuits, motors, variable frequency drives, and instrumentation used in power and biomass processing. Responsibilities include performing preventive and predictive maintenance, calibrating sensors and transmitters, reading electrical and P&ID schematics, and supporting commissioning and outages. You’ll collaborate with operations and engineering teams, follow strict safety and environmental standards, and help drive continuous improvement in a low‑carbon energy facility.
