Location: Palatine, Illinois

Schedule: 35 Hours per Week (7:45 AM - 3:15 PM)

Occupational Therapist Job in Palatine, IL

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of eight Occupational Therapists across the district
• Serve on middle school building-level educational teams
• Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations to determine special education eligibility
• Provide Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) interventions and recommendations
• Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and related service providers
• Support students in developing functional, motor, sensory, and school participation skills
• Help ensure the generalization of skills across educational settings
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) License
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for supporting students and educational success

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.00 to $55.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
