RN Homecare - Monday - Friday

Role Overview Hourly Pay: $26 – $28 per hour. Maxim Healthcare in Knoxville is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide home care for a pediatric patient with a PICC line. Hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday. Initiate the plan of care, request revisions from prescriber as needed when patient status changes. Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals. Intervene appropriately in response to changes in patient/client condition and report such changes to the appropriate physician or supervisor. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor and document effectiveness of interventions. Review plan of care and program protocols and identify areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning needs. Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where the nurse practices. Current health certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation). Current PPD or chest X‑ray.
