Clinical Research CoordinatorEmployment Type: Part timeShift: Day ShiftLocation: Silver Spring, Maryland with some travel to Germantown and practices required.Position Purpose:The Clinical Research Coordinator coordinates pharmaceutical company, National Cancer Institute (NCI), multisite and in-house protocol activities for the Cancer Program and principal investigators. Adheres to federal regulations, sponsor guidelines, medical center policies and procedures; and performs related work as required.Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.Minimum licensure/certification required (if applicable):Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in a health-related field (preferred.)Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Certification (preferred).Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.Clinical research certification (preferred).Active Driver's License.Minimum Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:-Must have knowledge of cancer and clinical protocols.-Three years or more experience in research program leadership.-Sufficient healthcare experience: 3-5 years related clinical research and project management experience.-Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.-Ability to create and conduct presentations to public and professional audiences.-Ability to analyze and synthesize data, prepare and present reports as necessary.-Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.-Ability to understand federal regulations and translate those regulations to guide the research work.-Ability to facilitate and lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals involved in research studies.Position Highlights and Benefits:Work/Life balance with flexible schedules.Free onsite parking.Our mission and core values are what drive each member of Trinity Health to support each other, communicate openly and respectfully while embracing a culture that nurtures a healing, safe environment for all.Referral Rewards ProgramPay Range: 27.75 - 44.00Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
