Nurse Practitioner - Outpatient Adult Psychiatry Services

Hershey Medical Center Location: US:PA:Hershey Work Type: PRN FTE: 0.19 Shift: Varied Hours: Varied Job Summary Responsible to work in a team setting to provide care to patients in the Electrophysiology Laboratories. Assist the EP Physicians during all EP procedures, EP studies, Cardioversions, Device Implants, Ablations, etc. Minimum Qualifications Either: (A) Graduate on an EP Program, (B) Graduate of a CVT Program plus 1 year of EP lab experience, (C) Graduate of a CVT program plus 2 years of invasive cardiology experience. Must obtain RCES certification within 18 months from date of hire. Must obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications within 3 months from date of hire. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Effective written/oral communication and critical thinking skills. Must be able to function as a collaborative team member. Time management and organizational skills. Understanding of engineering principles of ICD/Pacemaker devices. Ability to troubleshoot devices and implement emergency measures if needed.
