About the Position

Job Title

Travel RN – Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Night Shift, 13-Week Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed telemetry unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio on both day and night shifts
• Care for patients post-TAVR, cardiac catheterizations, ablations, Watchman procedures, and pacemaker placements
• Manage and monitor cardiac drips and hemodynamically complex patients including STEMI and CardioMEMS cases
• Perform continuous telemetry monitoring and collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and monitor technicians
• Document all patient care accurately using the Allscripts electronic documentation system
• Float to like units as needed per unit floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New Hampshire or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of telemetry or medical/surgical telemetry nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated knowledge of telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Experience caring for cardiac patients including post-procedural and drip management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Allscripts electronic health record system
• Familiarity with advanced cardiac procedures such as TAVR, ablations, Watchman, and CardioMEMS
• Previous travel nursing experience in a telemetry or cardiac step-down setting
