Laboratory Technician

Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Laboratory Technician Location: Baltimore, MD. We offer paid training, certification fees covered, and no prior experience needed. Pay Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $19.00/hr. Responsibilities Perform laboratory testing on construction materials under supervisory guidance. Conduct routine laboratory tests for soils and concrete, maintain laboratory equipment, keep the lab organized and clean following QA/QC and accreditation standards. Perform calculations and data reduction, document results accurately; may assist with administrative duties. Career Development Support in enhancing professional skills. Encourage participation in internal and external training programs and certification opportunities provided by ASTM or other organizations. Required Qualifications No experience required. High school diploma or GED. Willingness to obtain and maintain laboratory certifications for concrete or soils (both if working in both labs). Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Valid driver's license and insurance. Willingness to gain knowledge of CMT laboratory equipment, testing methods, and ASTM standards, leading to certifications. Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, writing). Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors.
