Schedule: Approximately 10-13 night shifts per month (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM); 3-month locum tenens assignment
Highlights:
- Critical Access Hospital with approximately 13,000 annual ED visits and 25 beds
- Average daily census of 20-24 patients; patient volume of 2.5 to 3 patients per hour
- 14% pediatric patient population; all age groups served
- Community-focused, island-based practice setting with limited onsite specialty support
- Epic EMR system in use
- Housing support and ferry costs provided; rental car allowance available
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine required (Internal Medicine and Family Practice not accepted)
- Active or eligible Massachusetts state medical license
- Current ACLS certification
- DEA license (Massachusetts)
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Medicine experience
- Experience in community, rural, or critical access hospital settings preferred
